Orange Bistro

If you are looking for a place with cozy ambiance, nice interiors, homey, offer free wifi and very friendly staff come and visit Orange Bistro. It is a perfect place to visit with your family and friends. Did you know that Orange Bistro is one of my favorite place in Gensan?

Gensan Bloggers had another Plurk Fiesta Eyeball last March 28, 2009 led by Avel Manansala known as Bariles to his blog. It was held at Orange Bistro. A blogger from Davao Mr. Blogie Robillo was able to join us. Thanks to Philip Teng (owner) our sponsor. I was mesmerized with the food being served. The presentation was colorful which makes it more attractive. We enjoyed so much the great meal and those are Nachos, Angels Hair Pomodoro, Dumplings, Spaghetti Meat Sauce, Orange Bistro Burger, Special Orange Ice Tea and Flavored Vegetarian Plate. Price are very affordable too.

Gensan Bloggers

Cakes Php 85.00 to 120.00

Dumplings Php 215.00 Special Orange Ice Tea Php 50.00

Spaghetti Meat Sauce P 95.00 Nachos P 220.00

They have also a Function Rooms for Wedding, Debut, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Seminars and Trade Exhibit.

Everytime I am in a restaurant I always checked the comfort room. It is a plus factor for me if they give effort to make the comfort room nice, clean, with hand washing area and with toilet tissue. Worry no more because Orange Bistro provides a comfy comfort room.

Orange Bistro is located at J. Catolico Avenue, corner Geronimo St., Lagao, General Santos City. You can reach them at (083) 301-0992 or (083) 301-5555.

Special thanks to Tanchi. I grab few photos from him.

My Natal Day

This is my birthday BLOG since I have so remiss in writing lately! Last March 8, 2009 I was celebrating my 3oth natal day. I thank the Lord for the graces he has given me and how grateful I am to be still breathing. I am very much happy that I reached this number and still looking younger than my real age. As I get older things constantly changing and for me its all about making the best out of it.

My birthday celebration was a unique and very memorable one. I prepared simple dinner ( 6 viand and 2 dessert) and few close cousin and friends were invited it's like 30 guest came. I had few games and prizes for my visitors. Those are - the longest way saying happy birthday (no one was exempted) , hephep-horray, balloon pop were there is a piece of paper for consequence. Everyone was having a great time specially in videoke. The party ended at 2 a.m.

Happy Birthday to all the March babies…and everyone else too!

Red Letter Day

Celebrating a birthday can be a lot of fun. Birthdays are very special to everyone. And we try to make them memorable one. Tomorrow will be my natal day , my brother gave me his advance gift. I was so elated because its a dress that I really like. I am on a tight budget. I guess I have to be creative on how to celebrate it. Could anyone give me some suggestions? Few selected friends are invited, it will be like 10 of them. My family and friends send SMS asked if what are my plans. Until now I'm still undecided. I want my birthday celebration to be special and that will hold a lot of wonderful memories for me, happy hours, overflowing love, blessings, long life and good health. I'll keep you posted...

They served Gourmet Coffees, other Beverages, Gourmet Sandwiches (Rye, Ciabbatta and Croissant) , Combo Meals, Cakes, Pasta, Green Salads, Breakfast meals and Kakanin. Good news for the early birds because they got a cool pen from Donna Mae Congson. I got one, thanks! It should be all of us could have a pen but since we are so many and the pen are only limited, we decided only early birds can get a pen. Sorry for the late comers better luck next time. And of course, a calendar and informative complimentary magazine from Avel Manansala known as "Bariles" to his blog. Thanks a lot!

Oh Manila!

It was 7th of Feb. my departure from General Santos City going to Manila. Cebu Pacific flight was delayed by an hour. We left Gensan at 3:30 p.m. and we arrived at 5:30 p.m. Waited for Sherilou's to fetch us - she was 2 hours late compared to our flight. =( To reduced our boredom my friend Morian and I were roaming around inside the international airport and took a bunch og photos.

I stayed in Manila for 1 week. I was there for some reasons. Had to witnessed baby Cali Christening and for my medical check-up at U.S.T Hospital. Don't worry guys its nothing serious. Been in Manila for so many times already. We went to Tagaytay and got the best Bulalo in town. It's so cold in there, much better if you have someone to hug to keep you warm- haha! It was a memorable trip. On the next day after Tagaytay, it was a Valentine's Day. I missed Gensan and it much better if I did celebrate my Valentine's day in Gensan for sure it will be a wonderful one since a friend of mine invited me to watch David Pomeranz Concert. I just loved his songs - it's my all time favorite. My friends and I end up shopping in Glorietta Mall during Valentine's day. But we had witness a helicopter throwing rose petals on air..It was so fantastic.... I only seen that in the movie but now it was real....

What I don't like in Manila was the traffic and the time flies so swiftly .. You can't accomplish all the things that you wanted for the day..

Now let me ask you. Have you ever been to Manila? Do you like to live there for the rest of your life?
