Kelly Pickler

I find Kelly Pickler a beautiful young woman. She's in really good shape and glows; has a calm confidence she never had before, which is great.  She's an American Idol contestant who's improved the most from their look/sound on the show.

I liked Kellie a lot in season five, think she's a good person just trying to make it, and someone who gets excited about new things.

Paula, with long white gloves on, gives her a big ovation. Kellie's as polite as ever to Ryan afterwards, then her usual blonde confusion about which way to walk off. :-)

Frankie Avalon on stage

Frankie Avalon was the first and most successful of the teen idols from Philadelphia. He was born September 18,1940. Frankie Avalon gave American Idol  fans a surprise, performing VENUS tonight. Frankie Avalon looked great, taking the stage for the results show this evening on American Idol. Avalon joined performances tonight from Kellie Pickler and LALATE’s fav Flo Rida.

Avalon got an introduction anchored by looking at what was going on the year Simon was born - 1959, as if anyone cares what was going on anytime in Simon’s life.

Video of Adam Lambert’s performance was shockingly eliminated from an expected rebroadcast today. And for the evening, Scott MacIntyre was eliminated.

GenSan XRM Motor Trail in Malita

I only had 2 hours sleep - woke up exactly 3:30 a.m. on March 29, 2009 as we need to be gathered at 4 a.m. at Bulaong Headquarters among with the GENSAN TUNA MODIFIED XRM CLUB. We prayed before we left General Santos City heading to Malita for a Motor Trail and of course we had an Elf truck for back up.It was my first time so I was little bit enthusiastic. We took our breakfast at the Cliff Hanger restaurant at 6 a.m. which was sponsored by the GenSan Government.

On our way to Malita we had to pulled over for 10 minutes to take pictures and a little rest. We arrived in Malita Municipal Hall at 10 a.m. Our lunch was sponsored by the Malita Mayor .

Little Baguio

At 1 p.m. the adventure started. We were told to visit The Little Baguio in Malita though it was far and an extremely rough road we really persevered to see the place. Only two kinds of transportation can go there and those are weapon carrier and motorcycle. Along the way at rough spots on the road a few of us fell down with our motorcycles. But that didn't scare us away. Finally, with all the sweat and hardships of going up, we were able to reached the said place. The air was so fresh, weather so cold, water was lucid from the falls.... For me its like a little paradise.. Rest houses are available for those who want to stay overnight.

As we tried to go back, a few of the group fell down but no one was injured, some motorcycle lights got broken .Good thing that there was a transportation weapons carrier which passed by and gave us a lift since our back up couldn't make it going up to the said place. A few of the motorcycles were put onto the Elf truck. God is so good and he is watching us. I felt so safe when I was on that truck..

On our way home from Malita to General Santos City, we need to pulled over because one motorcycle got a flat tire, then another ran out of gasoline and a lot more happened during that Motor Trail. We arrived in Gensan around 10;30 pm, all of us were so exhausted and had a muscle pain. It was a great experienced for me. We arrvived home safely and no one got injured. If they ever invite me again 100% I will join them.

My Natal Day

This is my birthday BLOG since I have so remiss in writing lately! Last March 8, 2009 I was celebrating my 3oth natal day. I thank the Lord for the graces he has given me and how grateful I am to be still breathing. I am very much happy that I reached this number and still looking younger than my real age. As I get older things constantly changing and for me its all about making the best out of it.

My birthday celebration was a unique and very memorable one. I prepared simple dinner ( 6 viand and 2 dessert) and few close cousin and friends were invited it's like 30 guest came. I had few games and prizes for my visitors. Those are - the longest way saying happy birthday (no one was exempted) , hephep-horray, balloon pop were there is a piece of paper for consequence. Everyone was having a great time specially in videoke. The party ended at 2 a.m.

Red Letter Day

Celebrating a birthday can be a lot of fun. Birthdays are very special to everyone. And we try to make them memorable one. Tomorrow will be my natal day , my brother gave me his advance gift. I was so elated because its a dress that I really like. I am on a tight budget. I guess I have to be creative on how to celebrate it. Could anyone give me some suggestions? Few selected friends are invited, it will be like 10 of them. My family and friends send SMS asked if what are my plans. Until now I'm still undecided. I want my birthday celebration to be special and that will hold a lot of wonderful memories for me, happy hours, overflowing love, blessings, long life and good health. I'll keep you posted...

M.U.D. at Generals Brew

M.U.D.???? Well, that stands for "Meet Up Day" for bloggers or shall say Plurk addict in General Santos City. It is the 3rd Plurk Fiesta which was held in Generals Brew. We were so elated because we had a complimentary a cup of coffee. Our warmest thanks to the owner Ms. Letty Du.

What's in Generals Brew? It is a newly opened cozy coffee place located at Pioneer Avenue beside Landbank. A very unique place to hang out with your family and friends. It is unique because they have a performer play acoustic guitar. They served something which you can't find to other coffee place. They served Gourmet Coffees, other Beverages, Gourmet Sandwiches (Rye, Ciabbatta and Croissant) , Combo Meals, Cakes, Pasta, Green Salads, Breakfast meals and Kakanin. Good news for the early birds because they got a cool pen from Donna Mae Congson. I got one, thanks! It should be all of us could have a pen but since we are so many and the pen are only limited, we decided only early birds can get a pen. Sorry for the late comers better luck next time.
