The Success of Google Precinct Mapping

I thought I was late at 1:30, but I was elated to know that I was the 3rd person who arrived next to Sir Armando and Dimple. There are so many advantages if you are early bird because we had a chance to choose our Google Map Maker shirt size and got a candy from Sir Gilbert. Thank you! It was a great experienced for me when I attend the Google Precinct Mapping Party last April 25, 2010. Twenty one SOX Bloggers was able to attend during the activities. The purpose of this event is to map a precincts of SOCCSKSARGEN area for this May 10,2010 elections.

We assemble at Grab A Crab Restaurant at Robinson's Mall which was wifi ready. Each of us brought laptops as our weapon to be used to plot the said precincts using Google Map. It was a very enjoyable event which we never get tired.

Thanks to Mr. Michael Wee, our very supportive sponsor who owned Coffee Club 101 for providing us scrumptious siopao and coffee. Grab A Crab for letting us used the Oval Room to make us comfortable while doing the project.

Thank you Bariles ( Author of gensantos.com) for inviting me again for SOX Bloggers activities which I do really loved. And of course this event was more colorful with the presence of one and only "ganda ever so much" in gensan Mr. Orman Manansala , makes the serious work mode turned into enliven atmosphere..

We go home with a big smile on our face with the "Google Map Maker" shirt given by Google. It inspires us to work even more specially at home. We will continue to support Google and do mapping.

I hope this contribution of ours will help SOCCSKSARGEN people for this May 10 elections.
