Oh Manila!

It was 7th of Feb. my departure from General Santos City going to Manila. Cebu Pacific flight was delayed by an hour. We left Gensan at 3:30 p.m. and we arrived at 5:30 p.m. Waited for Sherilou's to fetch us - she was 2 hours late compared to our flight. =( To reduced our boredom my friend Morian and I were roaming around inside the international airport and took a bunch og photos.


I stayed in Manila for 1 week. I was there for some reasons. Had to witnessed baby Cali Christening and for my medical check-up at U.S.T Hospital. Don't worry guys its nothing serious. Been in Manila for so many times already. We went to Tagaytay and got the best Bulalo in town. It's so cold in there, much better if you have someone to hug to keep you warm- haha! It was a memorable trip. On the next day after Tagaytay, it was a Valentine's Day. I missed Gensan and it much better if I did celebrate my Valentine's day in Gensan for sure it will be a wonderful one since a friend of mine invited me to watch David Pomeranz Concert. I just loved his songs - it's my all time favorite. My friends and I end up shopping in Glorietta Mall during Valentine's day. But we had witness a helicopter throwing rose petals on air..It was so fantastic.... I only seen that in the movie but now it was real....

What I don't like in Manila was the traffic and the time flies so swiftly .. You can't accomplish all the things that you wanted for the day..


Now let me ask you. Have you ever been to Manila? Do you like to live there for the rest of your life?

Dandy's Photo Entry "“Tahanan ni Maria’s Photo Exhibit”

I was elated to know that few of the photos that my cousin Dandy submitted for "Tahanan ni Maria Photo Exhibit" one photo was chosen by the panel of judges and included to the said contest. There were 34 photos and they will only get top 5 best shots. Lucky winners will get P5,000.00 and will be announced in March 2009. And we glided on the ice
I wasn't very good at it

How cute she read out loud to her mom today. Lea is cute and smart kid. I remembered when she was 3 years old, she's very talkative and sing a song that I had never heard before - well simply because she just composed it =) Lea just made her parents so proud..

My Very First.....

I took baking class few months ago. Last Wednesday we had our cake presentation for us to practiced and applied what we have learned. Well, this is my very first 3 layered cake. For an amateur like me, I think the outcome was not bad at all. A friend of mine gave some postive remarks that my cake looks like a fondant. I have my partner with me who made this 3 layered cake a successful one and she is also a very good friend of mine.

As you can see those gumpaste ( flowers and stars) I made them few weeks ago. I feel so fulfilled after the presentation. Wanna take some slice? =)

Birthday Cake

The finished product of my chocolate moist cake. I got a SMS frm a friend and would like to order a chocolate moist cake as a birthday gift for his friend. Isn't it cute? I took baking class few months ago until now. The reason is because I have passion in cooking specially in baking. So why not have this training and turned it into business? finally I got some orders from friends.. How I wish I will have more orders to come =) Feel free to contact me if you want some cakes for your party... ..

I never thought table skirting is so easy. I learned it from my culinary class. Here is the shot. I had a lot photos in here but I only post one. Before, I don't how to make one, I thought it was so hard and complicated. Some of my classmates find it so hard. It made me think if you are interested in one thing you can easily understand and apply it. I enjoy doing the table skirting that day...
